This product stains HPV virus in urine samples on the basis of conventional staining and provide auxiliary information for clinical diagnosis.
Testing principle
The source of HPV infection in the reproductive system infects the adjacent urinary system through sexual activities, self-touch, orsecretion transmission. And release their metabolic degradation substances (free sulfhydryl groups) in the urine.
Synchronous infections of the reproductive and urinary systems of men and women cause metabolites produced by cytopathic conditions to contaminate urine along with exfoliated cells. Therefore, the gradient changes in the concentration of metabolites in urine are highly consistent with the patient’s condition.
When HPV virus infection causes cytopathic changes, free sulfhydryl groups are produced and enter the urine along with epithelial cells and exfoliated cells. Free sulfhydryl groups in urine are qualitatively detected by using the principle of sulfhydryl groups reducing sodium tungstate to tungsten blue to produce a blue reaction.
運用上の提案
1. For in vitro diagnostic use only, oral administration is prohibited.
2. Do not use if the detection area turns green or blue before use.
3. Do not use during menstruation.
4. Observe the results within 15 minutes.
5. Patients with diabetes should use with caution.
6. For vulvar and vaginal medication, use it two days after stopping the medication.
7. After use, please dispose of the product as medical waste and do not reuse it.
